DAY ONE
7:30 – 8:00 am Registration, Welcome, and Continental Breakfast
8:00 – 8:10 am   History of the procedure “How it got started and by whom!”
8:10 – 8:20 am The Overview: Office base liposuction using local tumescent anesthesia
8:20 – 8:30 am Anatomy review “Break it down”
8:30 – 8:40 am Identifying potential patients, consent & exam
8:40 – 9:00 am Patient preparation & preoperative medications
9:00 – 9:20 am Patient markings – fat deposits (topography format)
9:20 – 9:30 am Local tumescent anesthesia preparation
9:30 – 9:40 am  Identifying safe limits of lidocaine & side effects
9:40 – 9:50 am Keys to pre/post operative photography
9:50 – 10:00 am Morning break (food & drink available)
10:00 – 10:15 am Room set-up, instrument selection & layout, and surgical dressing
10:15 – 10:30am Infiltration methods of infusing local tumescent anesthesia using infiltration cannulas or spinal needles
10:30 – 1:00pm First case of live surgery on female upper and lower abdomen, waist & back
1:00 – 1:15 pm Recovery, post operative treatment, and post operative wrapping of patient
1:15 – 2:00 pm  Lunch in Conference Room, with discussion of post operative care, post operative problems, outcomes and patient satisfaction, handling of dissatisfied patients
2:00: – 5:30 pm Second  live surgery of  upper & lower abdomen and waist
5:30 – 6:00 pm Overall review, question and answer session
6:00 – 8:00 pm   Dinner with faculty and nursing staff at local restaurant
